I just gave up trying untill I saw the new forum start up,so I thought I would try again. After playing acoustic for the past 25 years it was time to get back to electric guitar, so I got a strat (I had one before), but I felt life was incomplete. I started looking at Les Pauls ( yup had one before), long story short with what I read here I chose an Elitist L.P. std plus over a new Gibby studio and a 4 year old Gibby std. and I'm not sorry I did. So thanks to everyone who helped me make the right decision, this forum is my favorite. I really enjoy your sense of humor and the lack of nastiness you find elsewhere.
