aokvw
I'm brand new to this forum. Can someone assist me to know about a source for either schematics or reliable repair services on this guitar amp, dating from the 1950s? Maple-y veneer, 12 inch field cone speaker... Hopefully someone can help save a great amp. Mike
sunsetyellow
You could try here: http://www.schematicheaven.com/ Or Gibson do have some schematics here: http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Support/TechSupport/Wiring%20Diagrams/
tunghaichuan
Does this look like your amp: http://schematicheaven.com/gibsonamps/ea_15rvt-zephyr.pdf ? If not, you may want to look through the schematics on this page: http://schematicheaven.com/gibson.htm Gibson was notorious for changing the schematic for a particular amp from year to year. They also made a few amps re-badged under the Epiphone brand. Try to find the closest schematic using your particular tube set. Finally if all else fails, download the Gibson Master Service Manual from this page: http://www.schematicheaven.com/manuals.htm It has a lot of oddball vintage Gibson schematics. Maybe there'll be one close to your amp. The downside is that it is 177megs. tung I'm brand new to this forum.
