Epi Casino

Alch, Not sure how the prices differ between here and Aus, but yes, I'm guessing it's just a tad on the high side, but maybe not too high. It looks like it's got some nice touches on it, ala Lennon's--nylon saddles and the black grommet, etc.. For comparison, a new Elitist Casino will go for around $1300US, though some dealers will work with you down to between $1000-$1100.

Certainly looks like a clean Casino, and the Japanese plant makes very fine instruments. In fact, in addition to the Elitist line, they cut the bodies and necks for the Lennon Limited Eds.

I'd certainly consider it, depending on how the money actually looks in Aus.

Cheers, Bill

Would love to have this... I'm thinking its abit overpriced tho. Anyone have one of these Japanese epis care to shed some light?

Cheers!

My elitist Casino is one of my absolute favorites- on my scale of finish' date=' workmanship, sound quality, etc.

I put it up there with my ole 2002 gibson LP standard and my gibson 335. it's also the only guitar i own with

the dark brown wood grain on the side and backside, which i really love.

You will not have any regrets with your Casino- unless of course it came in two pieces- yikes!

Hope that helps,

Jay
