Dotmaster Posted February 4, 2008 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Hello all. New boy here and just introducing myself. Been hovering for a while and really like the way the forum runs. Everyone seems really friendly. Been playing 20 years, now semi-pro-ish!! playing in a covers band all over the UK and occasionally in mainland Europe. My gear:- 2004 SG Standard 2003 Tokai Love Rock LS85 2007 Epi Dot 1996(USA) Fender HRD + 2x12 Marshall Cab Boss + Marshall pedals Joined up because my EE series Cherry Dot surprised me so much with it's quality and tone for the price. Have done a few mods:- Cream Graphitec nut - Black silvertop knobs + pointers - Cream toggle tip - Smaller pick-guard - Flipped magnet in neck pick up for mid position "Peter Green" tone. Dotmaster Posted February 4, 2008 Author Share Posted February 4, 2008 Was speaking to a guy in my local music store last week and he told me that Gibson/Epi had lost their UK distributor (Rosetti I think??) and that Epi's were gonna become difficult to get hold of here.
