FrankS1281734010 Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 so i just bought a vintage '59 humbucker from guitarfetish and i guess they're four wire. how should i wire them into my LP without any kind of coil-tapping? this is my first venture into changing a pickup so any advice is welcome. kinda cool, apparently they're located in massachusetts too, so they shipped it out yesterday and it's scheduled to come in today Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Biff Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 The GFS pickups come with good instructions and wiring schematics, don't worry about it. Anyway, you'll have to join the two "extra" wires together and wire it like a 2 wire humbucker. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
