whitebear
12 String, highly figured rosewood back and sides (prob. laminate). Blue label with Made in Japan on it. Any information on the model will be greatly appreciated. I've had it for 35 years, bought it from an ex-sister-in-law's brother (long story there...) Thanks in advance! Thanks in advance![/quote'] The 6834E was a Matsumoku-made Aria model with minor cosmetic changes which was re-labeled and sold as part of the first Epiphone-branded Japanese imports in 1971. In 1972 this model became the FT-165 Bard 12 String. It was an all-laminated (back/sides/top) body with a bolt-on neck and they sold for around $150 when new and now bring around $200 on E Bay. This model was one of the models that was subject to the glue drying out and the neck pocket collapsing but not all of these guitars had this problem. Not the best acoustic guitar ever made but not the worst either. ...and Al's your uncle.
