Greg Ferguson
I've never had a chance to play these side by side. Individually, they each sounded fantastic. Anyone able to comment on how they compare?

Modac
I've owned both----and I still have the J-185. For my purposes----bare-fingered picking----the J-185 was not only superior to the J-200, but also to either a rosewood/sitka J-100, or a mahogany/sitka J-100....they're gone, too. But the J-185 stays. Now if you're a strummer----and I'm not----you might prefer the larger bodied guitar. But for responsiveness, handling (short scale) and open voiced tone, the J-185 is a better guitar, imo.
