jeremyz1994
I was just wondering how the clean sound on a '61 reissue sg is. Is it good for all styles of music?
mrderb11
The '57 classic pups are a little hot, so (in my opinion) the clean isn't "pristine" on the '61reissue, but it still sounds awesome. I lowered the bridge pup a little to clean it up a bit. This guitar is great for all styles of music. Very versatile, light, and it has that classic Gibson tone. I always thought they are kinda weak or more of a mellow pickup
littlekenny
there not weak, nor are they that hot. There a vintage tone with an output of around 7 or 8k ohms
