Bluemoon
I have a combo, version 2. I've added a Hammond OT. I now want to add a second and third speaker (8, and 16 ohm) . What kind of jack should I buy. Is a speaker jack the same as the instrument input jack? Thanks
m-theory
I prefer switchcraft, but neutrik is equally as robust. Some like cliff jacks, also. Yes, it's the same as an instrument input jack...mono.
TWANG
you know you can't run three speakers at once off three jacks.. right? you can only use one jack.. and a speaker combination that matches it's ohms at that jack. you can use an 8 ohm into the 4ohm amp output..along with a 16 ohm into the amps 8ohm output.. at the same time only. otherwise.. you have to match the speaker impedance to the amps proper output jack.
