Pickups for Les Paul for hard rock/metal help

I like semour duncan pickups as only heard good news but i know theres cheaper ones out there too so any suggestions will help.

 

I play guns and roses so hard rock and more heavy stuff in general like van halen and metallica.

 

Was gonna buy another guitar but want my epi as good as possible now so gonna mod it

If you're into Guns 'N' Roses, get a pair of Seymour Duncan Alinico II's. They're the same ones Slash uses.

Remember, you will need 500 pots to make it right.....or FORGET ABOUT IT.......you might as well some Ibenez pickups or keep the epis-rewax them and put a magnet on the botten of them. You can buy ceramic mags you know.....if you just want dirty..get a better amp.

 

Just go to each of the sites and review the information, then go to a Guitar Center and try some on that are alread on other guitars..but remember, the pickup is only one part of the electronics...the pots have to match...Gibson has gone to a 300 on some now....
