Buckeroo Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 Whats with Gibson? I recently purchased a J185 custom Koa guitar (which I love) and contacted gibson to find out more Info ie... Number made original price general specs ... sent pictures and serial # and packers name and two weeks later NADA! If Gibson is going to have a custom shop you would think that there would be better documentation then on its standard models. I own 3 other gibsons and would rather see better ways to find out about used and older gibsons than an article about Slash!!!!! What is the purpose of serial #s and registering a guitar if that info is not available to future owners and or collectors? any thoughts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
