GuitarJunkie
I laughed out loud when I read this. I was tempted to e-mail the guy, but I don't think he has a clue. http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-musical-instruments-2004-Gibson-SG-Suspended-ad-W0QQAdIdZ36323967
xxx
I wonder if the new replacement headstock will come with the metal spinning things that the six shiney metal wires attach to. If so, that would be a real good deal!!

GuitarJunkie
For those that didn't get a chance to see it, it basically went like this... A guy had a 2004 Cherry SG Standard for sale for $1050. He "suspended his ad" saying since he paid to run the ad for 3 days he didn't want to take it down, BUT he noticed a crack in the headstock and he was going to have it replaced so he wouldn't have the guitar for viewing for a few days. Apparently he was getting a replacement headstock from Gibson and was going to have it installed at a local shop (who, by the way, doesn't have a luthier). When he got it back, it was going to be the same price because "it will be a factory headstock, plus all the neck, body, wiring will be all original".
