Chet Atkins Country Gentleman II 1989/1990 Value? Anything?

I have an Epiphone Chet Atkins Country Gentleman. Manufactured in Korea between 1989 and 1990. Full size 17" lower bout, two Humbuckers, silver hardware. Chet Atkins signature on truss rod cover. Orange label, semi hollow body archtop.

Are there any others out there? What are they worth (MINT) with Gibson Case. Production numbers? any help at all?

Much as it's nice to have company in the Bass Forum... shouldn't you move this thread to the Electrics Forum?

Not sure how many of the Epi-heads cruise this far South on a regular basis!

  • 1 year later...

The Chet Atkins Epiphone is pretty rare over here in the UK. I've only seen a couple on ebay in the last 3-4 years. However, they're probably not worth much more than a lot of other Epi hollowbodies because there's probably a small market looking for them or even know about them. If I was selling on in the UK I'd go on the same price as a Casino/Sorrento with "E" Bigsby or Sunburst Riviera with Minis which is around the £450-500
