Gibson Medalist 4x10

Bought this amp about a month and a half ago, have had tubes replaced to EL34s and some other work done to the amp from my local music shop here. It's supposed to have 65 watts with 4 10 inch speakers, but one speaker is blown and the another seems to be about there. The amp is extremely quiet for a 65 watt amp, I'm assuming its because of said speakers but I have also heard that this type of amp just never really got that loud. The guy who repaired it said it was pumping out 65 watts though..which is more than my bandmate's hot rod deville 4x10 but he's at like 2/10 and I'm at like 11/12. My question is if I replace the speakers how much of a change of volume should I be getting?

The Medalist 410 model uses four 10" 8 ohm speakers. Installing speakers which are higher quality usually gives you more volume and better tonal response. check out: www.tubesandmore.com or www.mojotone.com . They have a variety of 8 ohm speakers available.
