1990lespaulstandard
i wasn't paying attention the the tuner setting on tuner, which had somehow been adjusted to 442 hz rather than 440. Didn't play the guitar for two or three month before noticing. Does anyone know if this may be a problem for the neck. thanks

Thundergod
The extra tension on the neck could have bent it a little, have you had any trouble with string height? I guess at most your guitar will need a TR adjustment when you return to standard/concert tunning. What string gauge were you using?

What string gauge were you using? i returned to 440 as soon as I noticed. the strings feel only slightly higher. the summer has had a lot of humidity which made have created some relief on the neck, or maybe the extra tensions. regarding guage of strings, i use 11s. if i sued 9s or something, i'd not think twice I am assuming that the difference between 440 and 442 can't be too extrem
