accidentally tuned to 442 hz

Recommended Posts

The extra tension on the neck could have bent it a little, have you had any trouble with string height? I guess at most your guitar will need a TR adjustment when you return to standard/concert tunning. What string gauge were you using?

i returned to 440 as soon as I noticed. the strings feel only slightly higher. the summer has had a lot of humidity which made have created some relief on the neck, or maybe the extra tensions. regarding guage of strings, i use 11s. if i sued 9s or something, i'd not think twice I am assuming that the difference between 440 and 442 can't be too extrem

You prolly ruined it outright.

Mail that trash to me, and I'll see whatI can be done to save it.

give me your address, and i'll send it overnight, insured in your name. if you tell me there's nothing you can do, i'll let you keep it for your dog to play fetch with, or your cousin Berry to make a nice lamp out of. it can sit next to the lamp he made of that poor woman's prosthetic leg
