Turbomarcel
Hallo! I just needed to ask you, if this guitar could be a real Gibson guitar ... Please check this out: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230215218230&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=013 Thanks!
FennRx
I am no expert, but it looks suspect to me. Does Gibson ever use maple on their fretboards?
Flamed Froggy
Be carful dude, it's a fake of course. Pots are on a wrong place and it's true there's no SG with maple fingerboard.javascript:insertsmiley('[-x ','/images/emoticons/eusa_naughty.gif')

Gibson CS
my friend has a guitar just like that he thinks that its a bc rich from the 70s anyone know anything about that???
jesse92
The Only gibson That I Know Of .With A Maple Board Was A Les Paul Custom In a Natural Finish made in the 70's. The Diamond looks to small than an sg custom and should be MOP Or Ablone Like A LeGrand
L5Larry
The Only gibson With A Maple Board Was A Les Paul Custom In a Natural Finish made in the 70's. Gibson made a couple solidbodies with maple fingerboards back in the 70's. The L6-S was available with a maple board, and I believe the Marauder and S-1 were also. None of which were Gibson's finest hour.
flyingarmadillo
Well I suspect it's fake just on the price (1500 euros) with no guarantee and no returns!

The Man
FAKE!!!! FAKE!!!!! Just look at that headstock. what kind of an inlay is that? Even if it was a real Gibson why on earth would you want a guitar as ugly as that?!?
Gibson CS
The man... *OUCH*....beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think guitars like the Fender Jaguar, and dare I say...Gibson Firebird, are butt ugly but some people find them gorgeous!
matiac
The Only gibson With A Maple Board Was A Les Paul Custom In a Natural Finish made in the 70's. The Diamond looks to small than an sg custom and should be MOP Or Ablone Like A LeGrand I beg to differ but Gibson made the L6S, the whole guitar was of maple, and that could very well be something that was special order...I've seen weirder looking legit SG's than that one. Oops, didn't see above post...disregard.
happydog
Massive bogosity at work. Notice he didn't show the back of the guitar; bet it's got a bolt-on neck. Probably a Japanese copy guitar from the 1970s. That fakey-looking body wings arrangement is strictly out of the 1970s, copying the multi-piece bodies that Alembic used to use.
