jon Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 Hi, I've just bought a new SG Supreme - one of the guitars of the week last year. Looks amazing but the action is very high. Is it easy to remedy or do I need a professional set-up. The local bass centre wants £40 as a standard set-up fee - is that a reasonable price? Thanks for any advice. rd_artist Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 Well congratulations on your purchase,but the rule is it is not real until you post a pic :-) setups are fairly easy but can be time consuming so I always take mine to a professional, 40 pounds sounds correct I am not sure how that converts to US currency but it sounds ok.
