Your Acoustical Performances!!!

Last night we did probably our biggest ever gig at the Hard Rock cafe Prague. It is actually the biggest Hard Rock in Europe, over 4 floors and features an amazing Svarovsky crystal chandelier in the shape of a Les Paul haning over the bar and stage, quite stunning.

We played this with two guitars as a three piece which really added great texture and dymanices.

It was a great night and appartently our brand of acoustic rock covers was a big hit with the ladies and we'll play there again regularly.

Given we've been only playing for 2 months together were super happy with this progress.

Here's a link including pics of teh Hard Rock cafe. (should work if you have a facebook account)

I thought I would share this. It is a piece I write a few years ago called In Your Dreams. The textures are created by nylon, electric and steel guitars; all playing in unison on the main melody. It was the first time I used my Gibson Robot Guitar too (a controversial but never the less great sounding guitar msp_biggrin.gif)

Guitars used

Rik Middleton classical Guitar

Ibanez Ep9 acoustic

Gibson First Run Robot Guitar

Matt, this reminds me of Al DiMeola. Great job!

Wow...some great stuff here.

I've always felt for Salieri...with his passion for music being equal to or greater than Mozarts...but not his ability. Thats me vs. just about everyone that's ever picked up a guitar. My own dad who is 65 plays fantastically still and gets perplexed when I struggle with the simplest of moves around a fret board. Oh well...

I, like Salieri, know genius when I hear it and can appreciate it even if it'll never course thru my fingers.

G...C...G...D...G...with a smile on my face...

Thanks for the links.
