mking Posted January 23, 2011 Share Posted January 23, 2011 Folks, I know this has been discussed before and I did a search but didn't come up with any really good info regarding my guitar. I have a J-45 True Vintage and I am going to have a strap button put on it. Where have you all had yours installed, on the heal, or treble side of the neck? I once saw a photo someone put on line that had the four possible places depicted. I would appreciate your input. Thanks and sorry for rehashing an already talked about topic. The guitar tech where I took the J-45 wanted to put it in the position number 4 but I prefer the number 5. That is where I have it on my Martin and Yairi and it is just fine.
