Just finished watching "Nowhere Boy," from "NetFlix." Really
enjoyed it, too. So, I'm now listening to some Beatles and
John Lennon's solo stuff. ;>)

It is a blast to play. I have to say my style of rhythm playing is pretty close to his.

Great band

I've been listening to this song over and over lately.... i guess i can relate to it in several instances over the past couple years. but then again, thats what makes the song so powerful to me... i guess it means more cuz it speaks to me on a personal level...

Anyway, here's "Dead on the Floor" by Alkaline Trio:

And here's the acoustic version... absolutely beautiful song [thumbup]

Music isn't something you merely just hear; it is a powerful, driving force with a soul all its own; its healing power is one that you can feel in the deepest trenches of your soul; and the true measure of greatness has nothing to do with looks or money or popularity, it's about how the words and the notes move and inspire you to be everything you can be....

What gives a guitar soul is the shoulder that holds it up.

All damn week mostly the 4th movement from Mahler Symphony no 7. I had to learn it for a concert yesterday! Other than that I treated myself to hearing Led Zeppelin 2 and 3 while at the gym. It NEVER ceases to give me immense pleasure hearing the mighty Led Zeppelin! :)
