I had one----it was a 1994....J45 Western, with a natural top.... the best post war J-45 I've ever played...it was a half inch shallower at the lower bout than my friend's 1995 J45....feather weight, resonant, breathy, warm and woody. Only a diseased Gasaholic would have ever parted with it....what more can I say?

I had a '94 J-45 Western. I bought new in '94. Sorry to say, I hated the sound. It was the easiest playing acoustic I've ever owned, but it sounded very muffled, especially during the summer months. I also needed a "winter" and "summer" saddle for it, that's how much the action changed with the climate. I traded it in toward a Martin D-60 around '99.
