nolongermike@gibson
We've been running stories about how to get a famous artists tone using Native Instruments Guitar Rig. Do you guys use it? I am a huge fan of the software for recording, and I'm really knocked out by just how good the stuff sounds and works.
elessar820
I used Line 6 Riffworks and Gearbox through a Line 6 Toneport UX1. It's not the greatest, but I can record with it and I can practice quietly with it at night if I feel like setting it up, otherwise I stick headphones in my Floor Pod Plus. nolongermike@gibson
I can't think of a better time in history to be a musician overall from the variety of instruments available to us, to the software/hardware for making recordings, to the instant digital distribution of the Internet. I love guitar modeling software. Its just amazing the tone I can get from it. No apologies from me for using it when recording. The stuff built into Logic from Apple is incredible, too.
