My 2008 ES-335. Just got it in December as Xmas gift to myself. I have been a sax player for 40+ years. Decided to learn guitar. Sold one of my horns to pay for this. I love it, but guitar is like speaking a different language. So, I expect it will be a while before I discover how good this axe is.

Here's my 59 reissue. It has a reasonably big fat neck which I love. The fat neck in my view translates into extra tone and sustain.

They only made them for five years in the late 60's.

This a little off topic, but how do you guys post with embedded pics? I can only attach, which means you have to click thumbnail to see pic. I tried insert image (didn't like a jpg for some reason) and I tried a link, but only appears as link. Thanks for your kind understanding.

Go to the "forum feedback" sub-forum. The first or second thread (pinned) tells you how to do it using photobucket, which is what many of us use.

This is my 335. It is either a 71 or 72.  I know a lot of you don't like the Norlin era Gibsons, but this is one sweet guitar!

Sadly they suffer the same stigma that many CBS-ERA Fenders suffer from, especially hrough the 70's. In some cases rightfully so for bas choices like the LP pancake bodies and such... But your ES looks great!

Wow, nice guitar! How do you find the Historic compared to the Memphis one? I know you owned one at some point...

Cheers
