Mineral Oil for Rosewood Fretboard

I tried using mineral oil on my fretboard and it worked pretty well. It's pretty thick, but you can just put it on with a rag and let it soak in for like 10 minutes and then reapply it for another 10 minutes or so and then wipe it off and wipe it dry in another 10 minutes. It gives the rosewood a more glossy finish then lemon oil. No smell, too.

This kind of stuff:

Here's the fretboard:

I swapped out the pickups and installed a BB1 and BB2. I rewired it to eliminate the coil splitting option. Now it has more "vintage style" electronics. It sounds much better to my ear. More PAF'y. More like the LP sound I was looking for.

I have it setup for slide now, with the action and the pickups raised up some.
