Any information about release date, etc., for this model? A Canadian site (http://www.12fret.com) had some information from NAMM, such as alder body, 3-piece maple neck, does anyone know anything else, particularly release/ship date????

no definite info...it is supposed to be coming out of memphis, but i don't believe they've started it yet...

Still waiting...... I hope Gibson is planning on moving forward with this, as I would much prefer to get one of these instead of a Tele.
