TommyK
I posted over on the Epiphone Forum, but haven't had a response. My question applies, I suppose, to the Gibson Forum as well When entering a board you can select how far back you wish to browse threads, up to 6 months. This seems to determine the distance into the past a "Search" is performed as well. What happens to the threads beyond 6 months? I tried to find a thread I initiated about repairing ill fated Norlin Era "FT" guitars. see: http://forums.epiphone.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=1100 While I couldn't find it by browsing I did find a thread I had posted a link within. Clicking that link, I arrived at my chosen thread which was beyond the 6 month horizon of browsability. I recall there were posted responses to this thread, but those seem to have vanished. Is there a better way of finding 'archived' threads? Will these eventually dis-appear? The question of these FT guitars needing repairs comes up once in a while and I like to link to it to help out a fellow Epiphonian. Should I make a point to 'bump' this thread ever 5.5 months?
