J-200 Koa
After posting this link of the SJ-200 12-fret, I looked closer at the images. It appears the soundhole is lower in relation to the upper bout. Is this by design or am I just seeing things? http://www.fullersguitar.com/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,1191/category_id,99/manufacturer_id,0/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,27/
retrorod
First of all...What a Beauty! The soundhole would have to be located further down on the body because it has two more frets length extending on to the body. Nice Piece! RRod
Space Pup
They had one at the the Homecoming this years and it's a sweet sounding guitar. Both the sound hole and bridge are set lower into the body. In my opinioun it produces a deeper tone that is much better for finger and flat picking than strumming. My 12 fret is my favorite Blues guitar.
diogo
anything that makes a SJ closer to a Smeck is great in my book...that's probably the only way i'd own a SJ...very cool looking guitar with this new design.

The hole hasn't moved down the body. IT's the top end of the body that has moved UP.
onewilyfool
Yeah...the 12 fret neck puts the bridge RIGHT in the sweet spot in the center of the lower bout.....bet this one sounds good...

onewilyfool
All I can say, is that a 12 fret guitar makes it easier to play "blackbird". cause you know exactly how far to slide down to in the first part
