Hi guys.

Am looking at buying another amp coz my current one just doesn't cut it. However there is just so much out there and I don't really know what to look for.

I've been playing a bit of blues and jazz, but I've also play a lot of tool, ratm, jimi h, rhcp, rock and metal. Would like to hear everyones thoughts!

Cheers,
Mike

I have a Epi BC 30 paid $500 for it 3 yrs ago. Nice, but I found a fantastic Fender Hot Rod Deluxe made in USA 1997. 40 Watts of blissful Tube tone. New JJ tube kit and clean pots. It kicks some serious arse for Blues.Super chimey cleans and great overdrive for some Texas style Blues. My go-to amp.

If you're looking for a great 2 channel 5 watt tube amp check out the HT-5 by Blackstar for around $400. I own one and love it! If you want more wattage in tube try a 40 watt Peavey ValveKing!

I found my 5150 2x12 combo on craigslist for $350. Best deal I've gotten in a long time.

+1. I got to check out one recently and was impressed. I'm interested in getting one myself.
