I just found a double neck (12 above 6 string necks) that resembles the Gibson SG shaped guitar. It is marked Maestro on the headstocks and I am wondering if this is a Gibson/Maestro guitar.

I am assuming it is the poplar/maple laminate body and bolt on necks, but it seems like it could be a usable instrument to do small gigs with, as I like to play both 12 and 6 string guitars.

If this is a Gibson brand, I am certainly interested in it.

Thanks for any help.

ADDED: I found out from the seller it is NOT a Gibson/Maestro, but the name Maestro appears on both headstocks.

Not buying this one...

Didn't know Gibson made a double-neck Maestro. Pretty cool. Any pix?

Gibson does not!

Someone is importing the double neck and several other styles of guitar that look similar to Gibson guitars and several other brands, such as Ovations, using the Maestro name on the headstock. I asked the eBay seller and they replied they are NOT Gibson made and have nothing to do with Gibson.
I have seen several of the Gibson style doublenecks and an SG type, and a bowl back Ovation copy, all currently selling on eBay.

Time to call the lawyers?
