NGD _ Wilshire Pro - UPDATED WITH PICS!

I just recieved my used white Wilshire pro guitar. I'm liking it!

Question: What year was it made? Here's the serial number: 1003123xxx. I'm guessing March 2010.

There's no country of origin marked on the body - I assume China, right?

It has StewMac replacement pickups: Goldenage Alnico 5. Neck 5402, Bridge 5403. The vol pot for the bridge is wired backwards. No biggie.

Yes I'm gonna mod it. Plans are new pickguard, single vol single tone, maybe a side output jack, coil taps & phase switch.

Best of all I got it for $128 plus shipping.

Thoughts?

Sounds like pretty good value, and some tasty mods in store, almost needless to say, have fun with it, HNGD.

HNGD! I've tried Golden Age pups myself with good results. I put a set of Parsons Street Humbuckers in an older Ibanez LP a couple of years ago. It was a huge improvement over the stock ones. That's a heck of a deal, the pups alone probably were around $100. Beautiful guitar, congrats! [thumbup]

Several Guitars, including Gibson, Epiphone, Fender, Ibanez and Martin.

A few amps too.
