Now that's a Sig model worth cheering about. Love Kossoff's tone and definitely his licks. Don't know if Gibson can truly recreate a personal tone, but what a great tribute to Paul

Free was a great band. Paul Kossoff and Paul Rodgers working together was an incredible recipe some tasty Rock n Roll classics. I am glad Koss is being recognized for his musical contributions.

I don't think Kossoff is as well-known as he should be and probably won't get a "tribute" Gibson made for him any time soon.

It should just be called "The Les Paul Kossoff"
One can never have enough Les Pauls.

One of the true greats! I believe I read Joe B lists him as one of his early influences.
KossAR59.jpgYes I grew up listening to the great Kossoff. Paul was pure tone and vibrato and I don't think there has been anyone come close to his style . He's finally getting some well deserved recognition too. The players who were influenced by him are all smiling and saying "It about time" I'll post a report as soon as I get my VOS.
