hello there im greenich from India and im happy to be a part of this forum,I recently brought gibson's learn and master standard edition from an online shopping in India.I've know some basics of the guitar and im really excited about this package from gibson,I recently brought an electric guitar sorry its not gibson the main reason for that is im not a good player and not at all confident so i brought this package from gibson hoping this will help me get over my confidence levels n boost my skills and then surely i'll end up with my dream guitar(gibson les paul) ok cya god bless

Hi Green, welcome to the forums. Here's a free gift: Practice, practice, practice! And when it hurts or you're discouraged because you aren't making progress as quickly as you had hoped...practice some more. You sound determined, I think you'll enjoy the journey.

Welcome to the forum, Green. Congrats on your new guitar! As was recommended to you already, set up a steady schedule of practice and follow a good lesson plan that allows you to progress as you learn each lesson and can play varoius chords and scales from memory as you progress. There are many great free video lessons on You tube as well or beginners that will give you a great foundation without spending money on books or local instructors.
I recommend you look up the lessons of " robbourassaguitarist " on You Tube. Once you learn how to follow his video lesson structure, you can progress at your own pace all for free. My son is follow his videos that I set him up with and he is doing very well with them.
