Tone control for the mic.
Only a software version in the 'system settings' will be good enough because you will probably set it ones for your voice and leave it.

Please, Please, please, someone please look in to rectifying the BPM and beatgrid analysis. It is absolutely frustrating that something that has been a known issue for a while is being overlooked. Some songs are absolutely brutal!

I got my SCS.4DJ the other day. One of the first things that disappointed me is that the keys are not backlit. Only when you have found the key and pressed it, it gets lit. (But not all the keys). It won't be easy to find the keys in the dark.
Why not make all keys light up at half intensity all the time and full intensity when function is enabled... Or make them dual color. These LEDs are really not that expensive...

A little thing: the fontsize (and blue color when set by user)of the BPM in the display makes it hard to read!
Please a little bigger BPM font/figure and No blue. Thanks!

Please add an option to disable the crossfader.

That would be nice.

love the machine. We can do our Psychedelic picknick with it.

But one thing, Is there a way to Disable the F***ing crossfader.
I would like to remove the ducktape. :-)
If there is coming an update, (the scs is working wauwie zauwie), please an opcion to disable would be VERY nice.

Greets Mr.P(sychedelic).

The most important thing for me is the move active loop function forward or backwards on the fly like traktor, I would pay you to include it in the next update!

Why there isn't the possibility to browse files with a folder system?

How about adding a sub category to the genre so you can sort by BPM?

I'd like a way to back up the grid/hot cue/loop settings that you make.

I've spent hours setting up hot cues and loop points on songs just to have them all wiped out if something gets wonky on my USB drive.
I've tried copy and pasting the program folders to my computer and then putting them back but it doesn't work.
It has to rescan everything and then they're all gone.
So now I just dont bother putting as much effort into programing them which seems like a waste of the SCS4's capabilities.

I've mentioned before that it could be a function of the quickgrid software. But I still cant get that to do what its supposed to do in the first place very well either.

(Open sourcing the code really would let other people do the work for you and very possibly create a surge in the SCS4's popularity.)

thobrom use Norton Ghost, EaseUs Todo backup or Acronis True Image etc... I did backup my scs4dj flash drive with Norton Ghost and everything worked flawlessly (loops, hot cues, fixed bpm,etc ...)

Hi !
I purchased my second-hand SCS.4DJ a while ago. I was lucky to find a unit in good shape at a very interesting price...
Well, I don't use it very often actually, because I'm quite a bad DJ, in all honesty. But I power it on from time to time to keep practicing a bit. And everytime I come to the same conclusion : this is such a great device !
The only real big annoying thing is that the effects aren't post fader... It's really such a weird choice ! Is there any slight chance to see this improved one day ?
And if not, could it be possible for a few users (not me - but talented developers) to tweak the code ? I once read the software inside the SCS.4DJ was Linux-based...

Thanks !
