Hi! I consider buying a SCS 4DJ. But I can't find out if it has "Master tempo" like Pioneer? So it won't change the key of the song, when I am pitching it a little bit?

Anyone knows?

Hi I don't think it has that, it's like a real pitch on a turntable. but pitching a little bit shouldn't be a problem.

If I'm wrong, please correct me :)

I mix songs in key and beat. If two songs are in the same key, but different beat, f.eks. 128 and 130, I will have to pitch one song, and it will go out of key, to beat adjust it so I can beat mix. That will ruin mixing in key.

yes problably. yesterday i tried to make a mashup and the lyrics were in a lower key.

don't know if there's a solution for it, have the scs 4dj only two weeks

There might be a solution but it'll take some great effort.

Use Sony Acid Pro to set all of your tracks in same BPM, this program has a master where the keys don't change

Thank you very much for responding, and good tips :)
But I think I must concider buying another setup, if it don't have this feature.
It's so easy with Pioneer and Denon.

No problem, just checked it, keys do change. Who knows they change it with a patch?

Hope you'll find what you need ;)

The SCS4 has KEYLOCK. Changing tempo does not then affect the key of a tune.

Yes and it performs very well, at the default pitch setting +/- 10% it is perfect, better than VDJ (at least the older versions of VDJ, I haven't used it in a couple of years) [thumbup]
