I am a primarily bass player although I do play some occasional guitar and drums. I have a gibson 5 string bass and a gibson tube guitar amp which I'd like to use this forum to learn about and discuss.

My bass is a 1987 (i believe) "Gibson V" 5 string.

BTW that is not a flying V, just the model name which is roman numeral #5 (it's a 5 string)

It's not mine I was curious when you said that you had a Gibson V Bass and I knew Gibson made different shapes over the years and found the picture on talkbass, oh and it's an 87 as well.
