Tim Plains Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 Gibson USA serial numbers tell a short story about the guitar - do Custom Shop serial numbers mean anything? For example CS72405. Aside from the year, the remaining numbers are meaningless. "The only info that you could read from the CS serial numbers is that the first number would indicate the year."
