Non-Gibson but has Gibson P-94 looks very natural. Best pickup decision I've made.

those sure are some sweet guitars you have there.. I like that last one that has the p-94s very smart :) [thumbup] love that Firdbird too.. I have a 2011 Firebird studio and love it to bits

Rabs, you're so right. 2011 Firebird Studio might be my favorite pickup layout and wiring options. GENIUS! Posted Image Super underrated. Pelham or Burst?

There was only one choice for me :) and yes the pickup combo is what totally interested me.. Its amazing to have such a versatile guitar and they are as solid as anything. It weighs as much as some of my Les Pauls which i wasnt expecting.. AWESOME :) [thumbup]

I have had GAS for a Firebird on and off all my life.

Firebird pups are somewhat of an anomoly, in that nobody seems to care, nobody currently offers them for sale or makes them. Yet, they are well known, and many great recordings and good players have used them.

Some make "mini humbuckers" that fit the slot. But those aren't FB pups, are they?

I'm looking for mini firebird replacements. So under rated as you were saying and pickup makers don't seem to make them for the most part. Even Gibson retailers don't carry them.

I really like the finish on your ES-175. That is one of my favorites, both the model and finish.
