Wow, that was great ! , I loved it , [thumbup]

Thanks bud, I was directly under a huge AC vent so I froze my arse off the whole time, playing in between shiver's. If I play there again I'm going to insist on moving to a different spot! :-&

I had a show yesterday down in Chapel Hill, NC and shot some video that came out pretty good. Any word's are welcome and well taken. I'll leave it up for a while before I zap it.

Well, looks like you guy's are jamming good! But your right man, the sonic Q is not to hot. Try backing the camera up more and off axis from the speaker's next time. Mine isn't much better, I was just using one small speaker. I do have DBX unit's in my PA rack so that helped me a lot, Sony Handicam has OK audio for what I paid for it.

Rock on man!! [thumbup]

Sweet! My inter net is acting up on me so I only got to listen to the first min but ya'll sounded good! You should do some Megadeath, your singer could pull it off.

Thank's . The singer is the star of the band [biggrin] I know i can't pull off megadeath shredding, maybe our other guitarist can. We like to do all sort of things and don't have any metal yet, so megadeath could be worth to check out.

Great thread and vid RaysEpiphone [thumbup]

come on guys, post your stuff.

Woo! Been a long time since i played live and never got any GOOD recordings but here are a couple from a show we played with no bass player. My band had serious bass woes....7 bass players in 6 years. :) I think these vids are from 2005...

Nice work, Ray. Ah, Chapel Hill. Home to my alma mater.

TY, This place isn't very close to Franklin St. It's in fact east of CH but with a CH address. Lot's of people in and out during my show, several times I had a good sized crowd at the couch's to my right but just not at that time of the show.

And they where one of those quiet crowds to, I got applause once or twice but I did have a bunch of people say that they though I was good.

Here's a bad VHS taped performance of one of the bands I was in during the past 35 years.

This one was more of a soul and RnB type band. A lot of Motown, Philly soul and Booker T type stuff. This was around 1988 I reckon.

Nah man we all sang back up in that band. We did plenty of 4 part on slower numbers.

It's funny that for all the years I played I have very few pictures and that's the only vid I could find of any band I was with. I'm trying to find another of a band I was with where we played a huge outdoor 4th of July gig.

Good work cookieman! The band I'm Drumming/singing in now has one of the members of the Chairmen's back-up band so I'm learning some Beach music now....Cool stuff!

Aside from a few spots (like the My Girl intro) my guitar gets lost in the mix of the lousy camcorder mic. Good times and memories though.
