Pole Piece Height Adjustment P90's

Is there a standard guideline, or measurement for adjustment of the individual pole piece height on P-90 pick-ups on a ES-330 guitar?

I know some Les Pauls have P-90's, since it a solid-body, those adjustments may differ from an ES-330.

Thanks

I think you just have to do it by ear. Start with all the pole pieces at the same height and adjust up or down depending on if you have a hot string or dead one. Adjust up (closer to the string) to increase volume or vice versa.

Hi,

Pickup Height - Measured from top of pickup to bottom of the string when string is depressed at the last fret. Factory Spec: 3/32" = 2.38125 mm on the neck pickup and 1/16" = 1.5875 mm on the bridge pickup.

These measurements are for humbucking pickups; for P-90's the strings should be ajusted just a little bit further away because of the problems with feedback. Like already mentioned above; trust your ears.

Kind regards,

Stijn
