I would like to know when will be the SCS.1 system re-launched?

Any hardware ugrade? Or software update?

Will be there a higher resolution of the motorised fader anytime?

What will be the price of the units?

And what about the Virtual DJ LE boundle? Is it will be only for the new customers or the previous owners can have this great peace of software some kind a way (by serial number or so)?
How the skin will looks like, and can we easily name the Cues and Loops, so the given name will be displayed on the small LEDs of the controller units?

Your forum posts are being seen. Thank you for your involvement. I think the forum is still the best place to talk technical. When there are no updates there are no updates. But that does not mean movement has stopped. Thanks again for your posts [thumbup]

But we need something concrete, our equipments are becoming obsolete and causes problems in DJing with the Traktor 2.6.1, I received my last month, I bought it at a store in Canada. And I'm sad because I paid good money to have it especially here in BRAZIL

There are working presets for use of SCS.1 systems with earlier versions (do you have one of those?) of Native Instruments Traktor. Also it works with Virtual DJ Pro for the SCS.1 system.

I know you are helping out by asking around to see who has more presets :) - That is all good. A lot of controllers get support from the community of users.

Stanton is currently examining the possibility to release an updated preset for use with Native Instruments Traktor, more information will follow if the preset is approved

I don't think we're ever going to see an update. Gibson doesn't respond to emails or seem to care at all about providing support for the SCS.1 system.

It works great in the meantime with Virtual DJ for the most part, though I've noticed that the units are very picky about what cables you use. If it weren't for the great price I got for the setup ($850 for 2x SCS.1D and the SCS.1M mixer) I'd be pretty pissed by the lack of support and less than ideal build quality. After three months of ownership, 2 of the LCD strips are unreadable and I already have lights burning out in on of the infinity knobs. The gain knob on the first channel is starting to wobble a bit too so I use auto-gain to avoid using it too much.

I love my SC System to death but I fear the day the rest of the lights & LEDs burn out or I accidently break one of the records. It appears that there is no way to order replacement vinyl so I've been extremely careful with them. I can only dream that Gibson changes their mind and goes ahead with the relaunch.

Not only the vinyl, with no replacement part. I paid $ 1500, 2 SCS.1D and 1 SCS.1m, I'm extremely dissatisfied with Gibson, if any damage controller I buy Numark or Pioneer. They at least sell spare parts.
