Sunburst
What is your main amp for playing out? What one do you use for small jam sessions? I'm new here, so I suppose this has been asked before....please put up with a newbie. Thanks!

modoc_333
for gigs a Bogner 101A (6L6 version). it can run from 25 to 100 watts and has a useable master volume with great tones. for jam sessions it depends on the situation. any of the others could go. the bogner, a twin twelve, bassman ri, bassman head, etc. any of those could go for a gig if needed too. Murph
I gig a Mesa Blue Angel 1;12 combo every Sat night. Mostly in Ky. I also have a Fender Zinky designed Prosonic combo if I need it. Can't do Chinese amps. Need tube rectifier as well. Best to ya. Murph.
saturn
My main gigging amp is my B-52. I love everything about that amp except the fact that it weighs 85lbs. For practice I got myself a Vox AD50VT. It can get some great tones, but it's a little tricky to make any changes on the fly. I've been considering selling it for a more simple low watt tube amp for smaller jams and practice.
RichCI
Main giging am; Mesa Stiletto Deuce (1st version, not the second one they have now which is probably better) with a Mesa 3/4 back 2x12 cabinet. Throw it in the trunk for casual jams: Fender Blues Junior with a Weber 12F150 speaker. Home: 1966 Fender Champ with a Weber 8A100T speaker. GuitarJunkie
Currently a Traynor YCV-40... But as soon as I sell a couple amps and pay this sucker off, a Dr. Z Maz Senior...
Thundergod
My main amp is a VOX AC30 custom classic 2x12 (class A, tube 30 watts, 2x12)... the one I use at home is a VOX pathfinder 15r (solid state, 15 watts, 1x8), and for rehearsals either the AC30 or an early 70s Fender Princeton. djroge1
I start with a clean solid state amp - a Fender M80 which also has that awesome fender reverb. To add the warmth of tubes I have a Mesa Boggie V-twin preamp.
MikeRom
My Epiphone Blues Custom 30 does both. Switchable between 15 watt class A and 30 watt AB. Good enough for most situations.

solacematt
My modded 1984 Marshall JCM800 2203 head through slant Marshall 4X12 cab. For home practice a Fender Bronco I've had for a good dozen years or so.
SRV-Zeppelin
the same one I use at home: Marshall avt275. I find it really good for an amateur musician like me (amateur here having the meaning of "not gigging regularly," rather than the meaning of "sucks at guitar.") I would like to get a DSL-100 head with an angled 1960A cabinet, though.
