Hi, I just joined this forum. I'm looking for info about a Baldwin baby grand piano that has developed a squeaky expression pedal. In the past few days I've learned that Baldwin is now a subsidary of Gibson, so that's why I'm here. If I'm not in the right forum, I hope someone will direct me to the right one.
The piano is one we bought used about 40 years ago, and has been a great piano. Just recently though it's developed this squeak which appears to be coming from a place inside the main part of the piano surrounded by wood, making very difficult to reach. I'm wondering if there's some special tool that could be used to get a few drops of oil or other lubricant to this part or whether it will require major disassembly of the piano.
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

I don't know too much about that specific type of baby grand, can you access the pedal control rods? Or is the compartment sealed off?
