madsvang
hi, i have had my les paul robot for a few years now, and i have had some problems charging the battery, so for the the last year or so i have tuned it myself and they are not that good, they are too light and i always worry about pushing them in and braking the gears, witch has happened before, i love the guitar and i will never get rid of it. i want to change the tuners, but i dont know if they are 9mm or 10mm, i was wondering if any of you nice people know?? Justiful
I dunno, but i would like to know aswell. I have the same issue. The guitar manual says the robot was designed for .10 gauge strings. Not sure if that helps...
CharlieP
9 mm tuners are about 8.6 mm.

One hole was a little tight but a round file cured it!
BlueFlametop
Gibson is made in America and therefore uses sae standard not the metric system therefore the holes should be 3/8.
CharlieP
Gibson is made in America and therefore uses sae standard not the metric system therefore the holes should be 3/8. Well 3/8 is equal to 9.52 mm and they were not that big. Best to go by what Tronical says than what someone thinks. The tuner sleeves were a close fit and would have been a loose fit at 3/8. The dimensions are on the Tronical site for the tuners. Fit was snug enough to have to file one hole. If there were a whole 1 mm clearance I would not have had to use a file.
