i have les paul vintage mahogany. the wood is starting to look dry and i want it to have a low shine to it. what do you guys use to clean/ polish it. i have regular guitar cleaner (dunlop) and it doesn't do anything.

i saw a homemade recipie for wood cleaning (1 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup lemon juice) would that work?

Try this, I love the stuff :

Gibson Vintage Reissue Guitar Restoration Kit

* Restorative Finish Cream

* Premium Fretboard Conditioner

* Low-Abrasion Metal Cleaner

* 2 polishing cloths

You can find it cheap on eBay, around $13 plus $6 on shipping. Use to be more expensive.

*Don't forget to check feedback before purchasing*

Good luck.
