JAC Posted June 23, 2012 Share Posted June 23, 2012 I tried out the combo when they first came out and, I thought it was very loud. I liked the tone but, I did not plan on getting one because shortly before it came out, I had purchased a NOS Blues Junior. When I heard they were possibly discontinuing them I went and picked up a Head. I felt the head looked totally cool. When I had tried out the combo, I demoed it with a Strat. Little did I know how good these things sound with a Les Paul. Even though it is very impressive with a Strat, I feel with a Les Paul with descent pickups, like my 98 Special they have a superb tone! I can either now play it through my vox 10" cab or, the 12" Jensen in my NOS BJ. The bigger and more speakers the better! With the C5H you can go either 8 or 16 ohms.
