I've been away a week or so & have just had a quick look thru the forum. Seems like there's more people discovering the SCS4. I've had a little trouble with mine but recently it seems to be behaving itself. It really is a great device & idea & I think I'm here for the duration. The help on here is good & there seems to be a lot of people that know what they're going on about.
So really what I'm saying is HELLO everybody. Hopefully some great (online & off) relationships will develop. We are all bonded by a common interest whatever race colour or creed. Music is all powerful.
**** I do go on sometimes don't I!
So what & where do you all play?

Just discovered tech-house, if i can get good enough i might play a set in a famous club in Antwerp (Belgium). Before tech-house i mostly mixed trance music.

Yeah, glad it's building into a bit of a community now. Was like that before they moved the Stanton board over to Gibson and lost everything!
And yes, it definitely is a great little machine - once you get used to it, and how it works, and what it's good at, it really is a great step forward (and an obvious one too really, surprised no-one else has really tried this before now). So hats off to Stanton for pushing things forward.
I just sold my Stanton turntables, so this is now my only dedicated piece of DJ gear. I'll be buying a small USB turntable soon for listening to records, but the days of me DJing with vinyl are gone now. I think unless you own your own house and can have a room dedicated to your record collection, it's just not a feasible medium for buying music. Even the couple of record bags worth I have are a pain in the arse every time I have to move apartment

I force my staff to listen to my sets. I play our staff parties. I suck, but having good taste in music is 99% of a good party. I'm very into progressive and minimal.
