Canadian-made cases

Well' date=' I am pretty sure that my Bozeman, Montana made Gibson Advanced Jumbo is a Republican guitar, I mean hell, just look at the tobacco burst! No liberal wants anything to do with tobacco other than the taxes smoking generates.

I am not sure about my El Cahon, California made Taylor 612C. Afterall, it was born in the land of "Fruits & Nuts"! #-o But both acoustics tend keep their politics to themselves though as they prefer to just make beautiful music with me......

Now my Eric Clapton Signature Strat is definatly a liberal guitar as it just keeps sucking money out of my income for new gear aquisitions even though I can't justify spending it based on my crappy electric guitar playing.... =D>

All my cases are made in the USA as far as I can tell...... I am guessing they are conservative/republican as they are all about protecting the helpless guitars from evil conditions that could hurt any of them. [/quote']

The cases could be liberal if they were Union made. If; however, they are low paid non union then they are Neo-cons for sure. Not the workers just the management sucking at the bone marrow of their laborers.

I'm a card toting Union Member and damn proud of it...

I Am Made In the USA...

As are all Products I'm involved in producing...

I am also a card carrying Union member and Journeymen. I am proud to be a Union man. As with the Brazilian rosewood we should be listed on the Endangered Species Act.

BTW... Socialism is a political system like fascism, capitalism, communism. Liberalism or progressive is an attitude or philosophy. I am liberal or progressive (which ever works for you).

My buddy has a registered gun. He likes it. I like it. Its a beretta. We go shooting at the range. He bought it legally here in CANADA.The difference between Canada and the States is it took about six months to get it. But I suppose the convenience of getting a firearm at the corner store with your loaf of bread and then going to the big box AMMO world for dum dum bullets has its merits as well. But since this is a guitar forum I guess I would go to the store and buy a Gibson SG Standard natural burst, then the bread then the gun, then to AMMO world. If I lived in the States.

Whew?

My '79 "The SG" case is 30 years old. If it was made in Canada, it was well made in Canada.

My new ES-339 case said "Made in Canada". It's only got a couple thousand miles on it, give me time, I'll tell ya how tough it is. It works every weekend.

My (late) Dad had a Canadian built 1972 International pickup truck. It was bad to the bone. Had a 392 V8, 4 on the floor with granny. It was his favorite truck. 3/4 ton. 1710 maybe? He said they quit making them because they couldn't sell em'. Once you bought one, you didn't need another truck.

God bless.

Murph.
