Hi From Ireland

Hi Guys,

After playing for over 30 years I've finally joined a forum.

For most of my years I've played Fenders. 3 Strats, 1 Tele and A first edition Musicman Stingray which I sold and have been trying to get back for many years.

Earlier this year I borrowed a Gibson SG and discovered Gibson for the first time.
I fell in love instantly.

I bought an Epiphone SG Junior straight away and two months ago bought A Flying V Faded.
I have wanted a Flying V since I was a kid but always thought they were really expensive.

I was pleased to find out that I could get the Faded V for less than € 800.00 online.

So now I have My Fender Strat which I have customised with a Dimarzio stacked Humbucker which I love to bits.

I also have my beloved Flying V and I'm about to put 2 duncans in this and add a Shaller Tremolo bridge.
Just have to have the trem.

I still have the SG junior, An Ovation Celebrity and A Les Paul Copy.

I cant believe that I missed out on Gibson for most of my playing life and career but I'm making up for it now.

Anyway, thanks for having me and I look forward to getting involved with the varies discussions that come my way.

Funny small world, you sound alot like myself [thumbup]

I have been a Fender guy for 30 years,just joined a Music forums. And got mt first Gibson this year, oh and a second [thumbup]

I have an Ovation Elite and my very first guitar love was the V!!!
I also have a FrankinStrat that I put together.... Lots of Mods but thats for the Fender forum.
Any way small world indeed I guy from Ireland growing up very simliar..

Graph tech nut and string tree. SD hot rails, SD Quarter Pound #4 and vintage noiseless. I am going to put a SD quarter pound #7 in the middle. I also block the trem.......Its a made in Mexico but its rockin some USA stuff, oh HipShot open back stagerd locking tuners too...
All mods I did myself lots of fun. I have the SD QP#7 in my hand and its screaming at me to install it....... ROCK ON!!!!
