I've bought some vintage humbuckers for an Ibanez SG. I tought they were maxon or ibanez or similar mij, but when they arrived i noticed that on the back plate there was "Pat pend." engraved and "Custom Made" "161221" stamped. So i tought that maybe these are Gibson Pickup. Anyway it would be great if someone could help me to identify these humbuckers (i would be very happy if they really were Maxon). They measure about 8.72 k each.
I try to post some pictures.

That bottom one definitely looks custom..looks like somebody took half a Staple pickup, half a regular Humbucker and stuck it in a Filtertron-style cover/case...Really weird, but cool!
Can't give you any info on the pickup's origins however, unfortunately...

Thanks for the answers. I've found the origin of these humbuckers: they are from an Aria Les Paul Copy, model PE-130, built only between 1976-1977- The only thing that i don't know is if the humbuckers were built by Maxon (other Aria PE-130 had the same pickups with a different number stamped, the identical "Custom Made" and "Pat Pend.", and the logo Maxon.

I think they are maxon. The number stamped is the typical 6 digit maxon serial number. The first digit is the pickup code ("1" are very rare)the second is the year ("6" stay for 1976), the third and fourth are the month ("12" for december) and the last two digits are the day. So they were built 27th december 1976.
