Rootboy Posted October 31, 2018 Share Posted October 31, 2018 I followed this guide to measure/calculate what speaker load the OT in the GA 100 really wants to see: http://www.regiscoyne.com/tech/unknownOT/ It calculates to 9.4 ohm speaker load(!). The newly reconed 16 ohm D130 I installed is 10.1 ohms at rest (DCR) (I know it changes during operation), so that’s pretty close. And an 8 ohm speaker at rest is gonna be close to 6.2 ohms DCR, so it would be farther from the calculated spec than the 16 (10.1) ohm speaker… Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
